There are a number of ways to bid on lots at Stacey's, so no matter what you have planned for your day, you will not miss out.
Register to bidWith our new user registration feature, you can now bid online directly through our website as well as through third party platforms like www.the-saleroom.com and Easy Live Auction. Here is how to get started:
Register and Create an Account: Sign up on our website to receive your unique online bidding number.
Bid Live: Once registered, you can log in during auctions to bid live. Each lot will be displayed with images and details, and you can place bids with a click.
View Past Auctions: Registered users can also view past auctions and their bidding history for better tracking.
At least a week before the sale lots are listed on our website and the-saleroom.com with high resolution images and full descriptions
Three days before the sale we open our doors to the public for viewing.
If you cannot make it to the auction on the day, bids can be left via our website or you can leave a commission or telephone bid whilst the auction is on view.
On the day of the auction lots will be offered to a worldwide audience. With online live bidding, telephone bidding, commission bidding and bidders in the room competing for lots.
If you are successful at the auction an email will be sent with a copy of your invoice. This can be paid in person, over the telephone or by bank transfer.
Items can be collected from our auction rooms up until the Saturday after the auction. Alternatively, packing and shipping can be arranged through a packing company for the item to be delivered to your door.
If you'd like to join us in person on auction day, simply register at our office beforehand to receive your permanent paddle number. During the auction, just raise your paddle to place a bid. If you're the winning bidder, the auctioneer will record your paddle number. After the sale, return to the office to settle your invoice and collect your items. Our friendly staff are always available to assist if it's your first time attending.
If you can't attend the auction, you can leave a commission bid in advance. This is the maximum amount you're willing to pay for a lot, and our auctioneer will bid on your behalf up to that amount. Commission bids can be placed in person, over the phone, or online. It's a convenient way to take part even if you're unavailable on the day.
Prefer to bid live but can't be in the room? Book a telephone bid in advance, and a member of our team will call you during the auction just before your chosen lot comes up. You'll be able to listen in and place your bid in real-time. This service is subject to availability and must be arranged prior to the sale day.
You can participate in our auctions from anywhere in the world through our trusted online bidding partners. We offer live online bidding via the-saleroom.com and Easy Live Auction. These platforms allow you to watch the auction live, place real-time bids, and follow your favourite lots with ease. Simply create an account on either platform and register to bid with us.
